Trinity Playgroup is a non-profit, non-sectarian, licensed pre-school for children 18 months up to kindergarten age. Founded by neighborhood parents in 1969, it provides flexible scheduling and an enriching morning and/or afternoon program year round. Center City Residents' Association has been a leading force in the community since 1947, when the group saved Rittenhouse Square from conversion to a parking lot. Today, over 3,000 individual and business members are involved in city zoning, safety, historical preservation, legislative and environmental issues.

Our neighborhood's pocket park sits in the heart of the Fitler Square neighborhood. Stretching from 23rd to 24th Streets along Pine Street, its trees and lawns provide an oasis for sitting, sunning, and toddlers' play. The Friends support the park's maintenance and plantings through memberships and an annual sale on the Friday and Saturday before Mother's Day.
